Who We Are

GoopGoopGoop ("we", "us", "our") operates goopgoopgoop.com, a fan-made companion application for the video game ARC Raiders. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Embark Studios AB.

What Data We Collect

You can use every tool on this site without an account. If you never sign in, we do not collect your name, email address or any other personally identifying information directly.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site. Google Analytics collects the following data automatically via cookies and similar technologies:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Approximate geographic location (country/region level)
• Device type, browser type, and operating system
• Referral source (how you found the site)
• IP address (anonymized by default in Google Analytics 4)

Optional Accounts

Creating an account is optional. Its only purpose is to sync your saved data between devices. If you create one, we store:

• Your email address. If you sign up with a password, it is stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider. We never see or store the password itself.
• If you sign in with Discord: the email address, display name, avatar and account ID that Discord shares with us. We do not get access to your Discord messages, servers or friends.
• The data you choose to save: tracked quests and progress, collections and favorites, loadouts, skill builds, trial scores, and site preferences such as theme and layout.
• Technical records of sign-ins, such as the time of your last sign-in.

We do not send marketing email. The only emails you will receive are about your own account: a link when you ask to reset your password, a security notice when your password is changed, and a confirmation link if we ever require one for new accounts. These are sent through Resend, an email delivery service.

You can remove what we hold at any time from your Account page: "Delete my synced data" clears your saved data from our servers, and "Delete my account" permanently removes your login and everything stored with it. Both take effect immediately.

Why We Collect This Data

We use analytics data solely to understand usage patterns and improve the site — for example, knowing which tools are most popular helps us prioritize development. We do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or any commercial purpose.

Cookies

Analytics cookies are only set with your consent. If you are located in the European Union, you will be shown a consent banner before any tracking cookies are placed. If you are located outside the EU, analytics cookies are enabled by default, but you can opt out at any time via the "Manage Cookies" link in the site footer.

When enabled, Google Analytics sets the following cookies:

• _ga — Distinguishes unique visitors. Expires after 2 years.
• _ga_<ID> — Maintains session state. Expires after 2 years.

We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which ensures that Google Analytics respects your consent choice. If you decline cookies, no analytics data is collected.

We also use localStorage to save your preferences (such as map filter settings, sidebar state, cookie consent choice, and tool configurations) and the things you build here, such as loadouts and quest progress. If you are not signed in, this data stays on your device and is never sent to us. If you are signed in, the saved data listed under "Optional Accounts" is copied to our servers so it can follow you to your other devices.

Third-Party Services

Google Analytics data is processed by Google LLC. For information on how Google handles this data, see Google's Privacy Policy.

Account data is stored with Supabase (database and sign-in provider) on servers in the United States. The site itself is hosted by Vercel. If you choose to sign in with Discord, that sign-in is handled by Discord under its own privacy policy. Account emails are delivered by Resend, and mail sent to our support address is forwarded by ImprovMX. These companies process data on our behalf in order to run the site.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

Your Rights

You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking at any time by:

• Clicking "Manage Cookies" in the site footer and selecting "Decline"
• Installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
• Disabling cookies in your browser settings
• Using a browser with built-in tracker blocking

If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to access, correct, or delete data associated with you under the GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have similar rights under the CCPA. For account data, you can exercise these rights yourself from the Account page, or by emailing us at the address below. Data Retention

Google Analytics data is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted. Account data is kept until you delete it or delete your account. We do not keep a log of what you do on the site.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
